Better Bodies Fitness and Recovery Hub Derry was founded in 2020 by IFBB PRO Alison O'Leary. Better Bodies Fitness is premium fitness and recovery with a focus on inclusivity and positivity, healthy body and healthy mind.

We’ve built Better Bodies to become a community and family. It’s important to us that our gym has a welcoming atmosphere and so we cater for everyone, whether you are a novice who just wants to get fit or an elite athlete.

Better Bodies Fitness is not just a gym; it’s a transformation station where every workout brings you closer to the person you aspire to be.

As part of the Better Bodies family, everyone is supported to achieve their fitness goal. Individuals, friends, coworkers, sports teams, elite athletes and social enterprises/charities.

We’ve invested in first-class fitness equipment to optimise your workouts. Our gym has an extensive range of facilities and specific spaces to ensure you have the best possible variety for training including Derry’s largest spin room which can cater for full sports teams and is available for hire. Our facilities are trusted by Derry City Football Club, Strike, Shori Judo Club and Doire Colmcille GAA.

We offer a range of classes, personal training, gym membership and access to Derry’s best Recovery Hub to give you the best possible experience.

Located in Springtown Industrial Estate, Better Bodies Fitness and Recovery Hub is easily accessible and offers free parking.

Been training with Alison now all this week and I completed it I was so so anxious to join a gym because of being overweight and just having no body confidence at all.
